Find a transfer

Find any transfer from the transaction you sent, in any browser, with nothing saved. No wallet needed.

A transfer is not tied to the browser you started it in. With the transaction you sent, you can see where it stands from any browser, and you do not need to connect a wallet to look.

Look it up

  1. On the Send to Stellar card, press Activity (the clock button).
  2. Paste the transaction you sent from the source chain. For a NEAR Intents transfer, you can paste its deposit address instead.
  3. Press Find.

The card then says where the transfer is, for example:

  • Delivered on Stellar, with the amount that arrived.
  • On its way to Stellar.
  • Taking longer than usual, with what to do next.
  • Returned, with the address and the amount that came back.
  • Part of this arrived, with how much of the expected amount.
  • No rail has a record of this transaction, when no rail lists the transaction you pasted. A transaction sent in the last minute can be missing from the rails' lists, so the card asks you to check again shortly, and otherwise to check that you pasted the transaction from the chain you sent from.

When a rail records a transfer as delivered on Stellar but the amount can no longer be read back from the network, the card says so and links See the Stellar transaction so you can check it yourself. If a rail could not be asked, the card names it under Not every rail answered.

A Stellar address alone does not identify a transfer: the card asks for the transaction instead.

Transfers from this browser

Under From this browser, Activity lists the transfers you started in this browser. Each one has Check, which looks it up as above, and a link to the transaction you sent. Clear empties the list. The list is a convenience: every transfer in it can still be found from its transaction.

A transfer in this list reads On its way to Stellar even before any rail lists it, because this browser saw it sent. Once it has taken more than twice the time its route estimated, it reads Taking longer than usual.

If a transfer is taking long, you can finish the delivery yourself.
